Publisher's description: Radar Poetry is an independent, electronic journal established in 2013 by Rachel Marie Patterson and Dara-Lyn Shrager. We publish exceptional poems by both established and emerging writers.
Radar is a pioneer in exploring the interplay between poetry and visual art. Each issue features pairings of poetry and artwork that enhance the experience of the poet, the artist, and the reader. We feature visual media that interprets, reimagines, or responds to the poem with which it appears.
Radar Poetry is published quarterly and offers an annual award, the Coniston Prize, that celebrates a group of poems by a woman writing in English. Rachel and Dara-Lyn also host workshops and retreats.
