Publisher’s description: Split Rock Review is a not-for-profit publication run by volunteers that love literature, art, and the wilderness.

We aim to publish the finest poetry, short creative nonfiction, comics, graphic narratives, hybrids, photography, and art that explore place, environment, and the relationship between humans and nature. We also host a poetry chapbook series; Shoreline, a book review series; and Photic Zone, an interview series. We nominate contributors’ work for most major awards and anthologies.

We want the wild, profound, and quirky. We get excited by work that challenges, provokes, pushes boundaries, and disrupts forms and conventions. We encourage you to view our website to get to know us better at www.splitrockreview.org.

To those who heed the call of the woods, kick off your boots and settle in.
