Publisher's description: The Sonder Review is a biannual publication of short fiction, creative nonfiction, and art. We also take pride in bringing thoughtful, well-crafted author interviews and book reviews to both our publication and blog.
We believe in language. Words raw and shuddering and unabashed. Prose which is spare and piercing, delicately and deliberately crafted. We believe in storytelling that is innovative and daring, precise and complex, bordering on bizarre. Pieces to be unpackaged; which attend to detail and astonish sensibilities. Which leave us shivering with the resplendent, churning pulse of human experience.
We believe incredibly strongly in our authors, promoting their voices and nominating their work for applicable awards and prizes, and take immense pride in bringing their vision to fruition. It’s out of this passion that we have built our editorial service which provides both developmental and line-by-line editing for all. We also acknowledge that all great writing needs great readers and as such offer all of our issues free to read online as well as a variety of subscription options through Patreon.
Really, Sonder is a community of passionate, intrepid, eager-minded individuals in love with the profundity and necessity of the written word. Won't you join us?
