ISSUED: stories of service: Call for Submissions

ISSUED, a journal of veteran and military-affiliated creative writing at Arizona State University, is looking for poetry and flash prose by active-duty military, veterans, and family members that expresses the spectrum of experiences within military life—e.g. gender and sexuality, BIPOC experiences, physical and mental health, combat, enlisting and separating, family and relationships, and reintegration into society. Submit up to 3 poems or 1 piece of flash prose (1500 words or fewer) by December 31, 2025. Please include a bio (100 words or less) that includes your military affiliation.
