Highschoolers take their writing public: The Grrrls Literary Activism Project takes a leap forward with a grant from the Every Voice in Action Foundation, which has awarded Kore Press $15,000 to launch an Advanced Class on literary activism. The program is currently accepting applications for advanced and beginning workshops. Young women ages 14 to 18 living in Tucson are eligible to participate.
