We have been buying and selling secondhand and rare books in downtown Asheville, North Carolina since 1976. Our stock includes numerous signed books, first editions, and fine leather bindings, as well as a generous collection of quality secondhand material. We buy and sell good books in good condition, with a specialty in art, poetry, literature, classical studies, religion, regional history, and more.
Our mission is to help raise lifelong readers who are curious, imaginative, and independent thinkers by sharing the magic found when you open a book. In addition to children's books and related items, Spellbound also offers a different kind of shopping experience for families in Western North Carolina. At our store, the "children's section" is the entire store, and we are always available to help connect kids with books they will love.

Books Unlimited is an independently owned, local bookstore. We offer a wide selection of new and used books as well as a variety of cards, calendars, and gift items.
Unlimited Books for Kids is an independent children's only bookstore. We cater to children from 0 to 12 years old. This was a department in Books Unlimited which we moved to it's own location. We now have the space to do all the fun things you want to do in a children's store. We hope to provide a much needed service since Indie children's bookstores have become rare. We place special orders and do out-of-print searches to help you find your special children's book, as well as hosting puppet shows, story times, and Mommy-to-Be Registry.
