Publisher’s description: “It takes me six months to do a story. I think it out and write it sentence by sentence—no first draft. I can’t write five words but that I can change seven.”—Dorothy Parker, The Paris Review, 1956
Change Seven Magazine, founded in 2015, is a volunteer-run online literary magazine. C7 aims to publish quarterly and has two reading periods per year: the month of January and the month of June. During each reading period, editors select pieces for the next two issues.
Change Seven publishes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and artwork. The Books section features interviews with writers (by writers) and reviews. At least twice a year, C7 publishes its Better Judgment column featuring the work of an interesting and exciting artist (writers, musicians, visual artists, and more!).
Our editors are published writers, creators, musicians, and photographers. Change Seven welcomes everyone's best work.
