Sand Hills Literary Magazine Prose and Poetry Contest! (50th Anniversary Issue)

Sand Hills Literary Magazine, established in 1973, is a national literary magazine based in Augusta, Georgia. We are now accepting submissions for our annual prose and poetry contest judged by the Sand Hills editorial team. Entries are $12, which goes to sustaining the magazine in print. Winners in each category will receive $500 and have their work published in the upcoming 50th-anniversary issue! The deadline for submissions is March 8th, 2026.
