About Place Journal Call for Submissions: The Ground Beneath Us

Each issue of About Place Journal, the arts publication of the Black Earth Institute, focuses on a specific theme. From January 1st to March 10th, we’ll be accepting submissions for our Spring 2026 issue The Ground Beneath Us: Place, Power, and Resistance. Our mission: to have art address the causes of spirit, earth, and society; to protect the earth; and to build a more just and interconnected world.
