Calling all storytellers! Got a funny story or touching personal essay? The Erma Bombeck Writing Competition is accepting 450-word, previously unpublished submissions through Jan. 6. First-place winners will receive $1,000, free registration to the sold-out Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop (March 26–28, 2026) and publication of their essays. $100 cash prizes for honorable mentions.
