The Friendly Bookstore is a project of Friends of the Rogers Public Library. Proceeds from the sale of used books supports the library and its programs. Hours are 10 AM to 4 PM Monday-Saturday.

The SOMOS Bookshop is stocked with used books donated by the Taos community as well as new books written by regional authors. A volunteer staff maintains and sells the books. Our used book inventory numbers around 8,000 and is categorized into 75 sections. The books sell for a nominal price. Sales proceeds go to SOMOS, a non-profit organization which programs events of benefit to authors, poets, and readers.
