We opened our doors at this location in 2007, hosting a bookstore, inviting bar, and two event spaces. The Robeson Room, named after 20th-century renaissance man Paul Robeson, the larger of the two, seats about 80 people, and is where open mics, author events, and higher-attendance happenings take place. The smaller events space Paul’s Den seats about 40 people. Paul’s Den hosts our monthly book club and private gatherings.

For more than 30 years, Child’s Play has sold thoughtful toys and books at multiple locations, specially curated to develop children’s sense of wonder and play. Because play is the most important part of childhood.

Curbside Books & Records is a small book and record store located next to Revival Bar | Café. Curated by the staff of award-winning independent press Curbside Splendor Publishing (“Best Chicago Independent Publisher 2014,” Chicago magazine), Curbside Books & Records features a rotating selection of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry from small presses, as well as records and cassettes from independent labels.
