The May 2026 issue of The Lake, an open-access journal of poetry and poetics, is now online featuring new poetry by Mallika Bhaumik, Barbara Daniels, Paul Dickey, Glenn Hubbard, Hana Kelly, MK Kuol, Rebecca O’Hagan, Kristen Park, J. R. Solonche, and Matt Zambito. This issue also includes reviews of contemporary poetry collections, this month spotlighting Laura Kasischke’s I Was Bonnie & Clyde, Tom Kelly’s These Are My Bounds, and Polly Clark’s Afterlife. The Lake also invites poets to send a poem from a recently published book for its unique column “One Poem Review.” The May 2026 issue shares works from M.L.
