Publisher’s description: Feile-Festa is a literary arts journal in print and online, which seeks the work of poets and prose writers, as well as one featured visual artist for its annual, spring issue. Though our preference is for creative work related to Irish and Italian/Sicilian themes, we are open to other Mediterranean & Celtic cultures, all of which can either relate to the respective country of origin or the diasporas to America, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada and many other countries. We also have a special interest in writing that focuses on New York City. Despite previous occurrences that would make us think and feel otherwise, Feile-Festa, the Irish and Italian words for festival, hopes to validate the spirit of Emerson’s affirmation that “Life is a festival.”
