Publisher's Description: Ragazine.CC is an independent e-zine founded in 2004 by Michael Foldes. Published six times a year, Ragazine offers a challenging mix of art, photography, fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, satire, political and social commentary, and humor that mirrors life in the world today. We treasure diversity and honor craftsmanship, and look for it in all the work we publish, no matter the medium.
Ragazine’s contributors include Nobel laureates, Pulitzer Prize recipients and National Book Award nominees, as well as college students and senior citizens who “work-shopped” their first published poems into our pages. Ragazine’s editors and contributors have interviewed top thinkers in the fields of economic and social theory, participated in G20 and Rhodes Forum sessions, reported on advances in medical and “green” technologies, climbed mountains, ridden cross-country on bicycles, and described the open air laundries of India in words and photos.
Ragazine actively supports the We Are You Project, a traveling exhibition and documentary film representing the first comprehensive, coast-to-coast artistic overview of the current state of Latino socio-cultural, political, and economic conditions in 21st Century America. This collaboration provides an outlet for Latino artists and writers, as well as a window into contemporary Latino culture.
