Publisher’s description: Foundry believes that poems are manufactured objects—the intangible cast into forms. We publish a wide range of work, from short lyric poems to prose poems and longer narratives. We are drawn to poems that feel as much as they think. We are committed to inclusivity and warmly welcome work from marginalized voices. Recent contributors include Jane Wong, Cynthia Cruz, Rajiv Mohabir, Hope Wabuke, Emma Bolden, Jeremy Michael Clark, and Ted Mathys.
It is important to us that we support the poets we publish. Contributors receive $10 per poem. We also promote our authors on social media and submit nominations for prizes. A poem published in Foundry has been awarded a 2017 Pushcart Prize.
