The Awakenings Review

Established in 2000, The Awakenings Review is one of the nation’s leading literary reviews entirely committed to publishing the works of artists, writers, and poets with mental illness. The AR is a facet of The Awakenings Project, a Wheaton, Illinois-based group devoted to nurturing and advancing the creative works of artists with mental illness in all the arts, especially fine arts, music, drama, and literature.
