The Emerging Writer’s Contest is now open! Awarded in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry categories each year, Ploughshares’ Emerging Writer’s Contest recognizes works by writers who have yet to publish a book. Winners in each genre receive $2,000, a conversation with Aevitas Creative Management, and publication in Ploughshares.
