Inception Contest for Best Opening

Authors and artists eligible for Sunspot Lit’s Inception contest. No restrictions on theme, category, or the length of the piece or collection from which the opening excerpt comes. Literary and genre works accepted. Word limit is 250 for prose, 25 for poetry. Graphic novel and comic book entries should be the first page (can be multiple panels). Art entries should be the first image from a series, gallery lineup, themed collection, etc. Opens March 1, closes March 31. Entry fee is $5. Prize is $100 cash plus publication. Enter as many times as you like.
