Program description: Graduate students work closely with faculty on a book-length project while also taking creative and academic courses to develop critical and editorial skills. Class sizes are kept deliberately small. PhD students complete an additional teaching mentorship, comprehensive exams, and a language requirement. Students may also work directly on editing for either The Fiddlehead or Qwerty.
Every year UNB welcomes a new writer-in-residence, and students benefit from an extensive reading series. Learn in a challenging and warm environment, in the company of accomplished and accessible professors.
