NewPages Guide to
Indie Bookstores in Arkansas

The best list of independent Arkansas bookstores

If you are the owner of an indie bookstore, you can submit a free enhanced listing for your bookstore in our Guide here.

The Paper Chase Bookstore was established in the mid-70’s as a used bookstore and continued as such until we added new books and special orders two years ago. If the book you are looking for is not in our stock of approximately 80,000 titles, we can order it.

Two Friends Bookstore

“It’s a Mystery Bookstore” is the genuine article when it comes to bookstores. Rated as one of the best bookstores in Arkansas, there are over 20,000 titles both new and gently used within the walls of this great little shop. Inside these walls, you will be surrounded by escapes of the imagination. It’s a place where you can find well-worn chairs, old book smells, and a comforting place to sit back, relax, and enjoy your day.

Your neighborhood bookstore with a cafe offering a pleasant atmosphere to study, read, and enjoy a coffee or tea.
