Nomadic Bookshop is a community‑rooted bookstore and cultural space in Uptown Oakland, founded and run by husbands J. K. Fowler and Uriel Landa. Growing from the legacy of Nomadic Press, it uplifts BIPOC, queer, and marginalized voices through radical imagination and collective study. Centering books on liberation, abolition, and grassroots futures, the shop also hosts the next chapter of Nomadic Press, relaunching publishing in 2026 with new boundary‑pushing work and events.
