Mentorship Program (Rising Seniors Only)

BOTH MENTEE AND MENTOR APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!

Love writing but need some professional guidance and tutelage to help you develop your voice? Apply to the 2023 Daphne Online Mentorship Program! We will be selecting 10-11 dedicated students to work with caring, accomplished professional writers on a 1on1 basis. 

Our mentee students have benefited greatly over the years. They’ve used the time to work on their existing body of work to get them published by literary magazines, win awards at Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, PYAA and eventually gain acceptance to top colleges!

Recent Daphne mentees have been accepted to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, and top creative writing programs, e.g., Iowa, Kenyon, Juniper, and Emerson!

Session I:  July 25th – August 15th

Session II: September 5-26 (with a focus on entries to YoungArts and Scholastic competitions)

Session III:November 7-28 (with a focus on literary magazine publications and college applications)

3 weeks of working 1on1 w/ a professional writer

Zoom sessions and online editing/feedback to help hone your craft
