Publisher’s description: The Rio Grande Review was established in 1980. It is run by the only bi-lingual MFA program on two continents. The journal publishes fiction, translations, non-fiction, poetry and visual arts. We publish both well-known and emerging. We have recently published works by Benjamin Sáenz, Daniel Chacón, and Johnny Payne.

Our printed editions are themed. The theme changes with each issue, but we have an on-line edition that is not themed. We seek all styles, from traditional to experimental in all the above mentioned genres.

Rio Grande Review is published bi-annually in association with the University of Texas at El Paso.
