Publisher's Description: Raving Dove's mission is to share thought-provoking poetry, prose, and art that champions human rights and social justice—and opposes physical and psychological violence in all its forms, including war, discrimination against sexual orientation, and every shade of bigotry.

Published quarterly, Raving Dove showcases original poetry, nonfiction essays, fiction, photography, and art.

Recent issues:

16, Summer 2009, our Fifth Anniversary Edition of Raving Dove. Our poetry takes us on a spiritual romp through North America, South America, Asia, and in someone's kitchen cabinet. Our fiction tells the story of a child in pain because of her ancestry, and a young woman tormented as a result of childhood abuse. Nonfiction takes us into the life and death of a Holocaust survivor, spins a tale of remembrance on Veterans Day, and employs an unusual metaphor to describe our immigrants' plight.
