Publisher’s description: Memoir (and) appears both in hard copy and on the web. Besides publishing graphic memoirs, it publishes prose, poetry, epistolary memoirs, narrative photography, etc., and particularly invites submissions that push both form and content of the genre.

By publishing memoirs, the journal’s intent is to not only to capture the spirit of the time, but also to explore the range of what it means to be human and thereby inspire, validate and expand the human experience. To that end, it looks to represent the diversity of human voices from around the globe. Memoir (and) is nonprofit, engaged in community outreach by developing memoir workshops to underrepresented sectors of the population.
