Publisher’s description: The Copper Pig Writers Society has been publishing On Spec for nearly twenty years. We have many subscribers who have been with us since the beginning.
Our aim is to find exciting new talent in genre fiction, and to act as a mentor for emerging writers. The On Spec editors look for original, unpublished speculative fiction (SF) and poetry -- fantasy, horror, ghost stories, fairy stories, magic realism, etc. Our mandate is to give our readers the best SF we can find, regardless of the author's nationality, and we have published authors from Canada, the U.S., Britain, New Zealand, South America, and more.
