Publisher’s description: Founded in 1956 at Colorado State University, Colorado Review features short fiction, poetry, and nonfiction (memoir, personal essays) by both emerging and established writers, including numerous Pulitzer Prize, Best American, Pushcart, O. Henry, and Rona Jaffe Award winners. Recent issues include work by Julie Marie Wade, Jessica Treadway, Natalie Scenters-Zapico, Shira Dentz, Shze-Hui Tjoa, Anthony Cody, Chee Brossy, Stella Wong, Diana Khoi Nguyen, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Lance Olsen, Rage Hezekiah, Monica Macansantos, and Lyn Hejinian. Work first published in Colorado Review regularly receives attention from Best American Essays, Best American Short Stories, etc. The magazine has received several grants from the National Endowment from the Arts.

Published three times a year by the Center for Literary Publishing at Colorado State University, Colorado Review is edited by Stephanie G’Schwind (editor-in-chief); G’Schwind and Harrison Candelaria Fletcher (nonfiction editors); Steven Schwartz (fiction editor); and Donald Revell, Sasha Steensen, Matthew Cooperman, and Camille T. Dungy (poetry editors). Book reviews are edited by Dan Beachy-Quick (poetry) and Nicole VanderLinden (fiction and nonfiction). Jennifer Wortman is the associate fiction editor. Felicia Zamora is the associate poetry editor.
