Special features include a flexible curriculum, cross-genre opportunities, opportunities for interdisciplinary study, and our Eminent Writers in Residence program, which brings distinguished authors to campus to work closely with our students. We have a deeply committed faculty, a lively visiting writers series, an incomparable natural setting, and full funding for students, including teaching assistantships with reasonable teaching loads, full tuition waivers, summer stipends, and support for travel and publication.
